Bronze Course with Bronte SLSC, starting on Tuesday 19th October at 7pm.

To complete your bronze you will need to firstly take the following steps:

1. Fill out membership registration forms found on our website at: http://www.brontesurfclub.com.au/Images/Bronte_SLSA_Membership.pdf or by coming into the club to pick one up.

2. Pay for your bronze training: $350 for all non members, $280 for all members who have already paid their yearly fees. $150 for students, via cheque, cash or credit card.

3. Return this email to confirm you place in the course ASAP.

4. Complete a proficiency swim= 400m in 9minutes prior to the commencement of the course (current proposed dates for this swim are 19th & 26th September at Bronte Pool: TBC)

You have until Sunday 10th October, 2010 to get in membership forms and payment. Surf Club address is P.O. BOX 33, Waverley, 2024.

NOTICE: once payment and forms are received at the office you will receive a training manual so that you may start pre-reading

Below are the proposed training dates (which will be confirmed on the first induction night):
> Tuesday 19th October 7pm - 9pm: Induction, questions and theoretical session one
> Tuesday 26th October 7pm - 9pm: Theoretical session two
> Tuesday 2nd November 7pm - 9pm: Theoretical session three
> Tuesday 9th November 7pm - 9pm: Theoretical session four
> Tuesday 16th November 7pm - 9pm: Theoretical session five
> Tuesday 23rd November 7pm - 9pm: Theoretical session six

All practical sessions will be held for 1-1.5 hours on corresponding Friday mornings (or another morning- which will be decided at your first induction session with the trainers).

There will be 6 practical sessions during your training.

NOTICE: additional practical training/skills days on the board and in surf swimming are offered on weekends and Wednesdays throughout the season, in case you feel like practicing and refining your skills.

If additional training sessions are required in the week prior to exams, they will be booked in with the participants.

> Tuesday 30th November (Part A)
> Saturday 4th December (Part B)
